Am 11.05.2023 erfolgte mit Abgeordneten der Fraktionen von Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, CDU, SPD und DIE LINKE des Berliner Abgeordnetenhauses die Gründung des ersten Parlamentarischen Forums für Clubkultur, Kulturräume & Nachtleben in einem Bundesland, um eine partei- und fraktionsübergreifende Austauschplattform im Abgeordnetenhaus für die Anliegen der vielfältigen Kulturräume rund um die Club-, Konzert und Festivalszene in Berlin zu etablieren. Erstmalig stellen sich die Gründungsmitglieder in einem größeren Konferenzformat zusammen in der Diskussion zu ihrer gemeinsamen Arbeit, ihren Zielen und der Situation in Berlin. Im Deutschen Bundestag gibt es bereits seit 2020 das Vorbild für diese Art parlamentarisches Forum (das auf der Stadt Nach Acht im November 2019 gegründet wurde und am Donnerstag, 16.11. 23, von 18-20h stattfindet).

An der Debatte um G zeigt sich auch, wie fest verankert Repression und Prohibition als Reaktion auf „störenden“ Drogengebrauch sind. Mit diesem letzten Beitrag an diesem Abend wollen wir Sterotype und Mythen um G diskutieren. Die Charité Berlin stellt eine Studie vor, die 2000 User*innen befragt hat, Sonar safer nightlife Berlin, Sidekicks, Clubcommission und ein Kollektiv berichten von ihren Erfahrungen und besten Learnings im Umgang mit der Substanz.

Wie kann ein sexpositiver Lebensstil die Freiheit der individuellen sexuellen Ausdrucksformen fördern? Worauf ist zu achten, um dabei eine verantwortungsbewusste Herangehensweise an die eigene Gesundheit und die der Gemeinschaft zu gewährleisten? Wie kann man einen sexpositiven Lebensstil pflegen und dabei sich selbst und andere schützen?

Inklusion in der Clubkultur ist ein vielschichtiges Thema. In einem inklusiven Clubraum geht es nicht nur um die Musik, sondern auch um die Schaffung einer Umgebung, die Menschen unterschiedlicher Hintergründe, Identitäten und Fähigkeiten willkommen heißt. Ein solcher Raum sollte barrierefrei sein, sowohl physisch als auch sozial, um sicherzustellen, dass jeder die Möglichkeit hat, uneingeschränkt teilzunehmen. Eine inklusive Clubkultur strebt danach, Vorurteile abzubauen, Vielfalt zu feiern und eine gemeinsame Plattform für individuelle Ausdrucksformen zu schaffen. Inklusion ist ein Aufruf zur Akzeptanz. Aber wie weit sind wir bei der Schaffung von Räumen, in denen sich alle willkommen und zugehörig fühlen?

Das Panel wirft einen Blick auf die gegenwärtige Landschaft elektronischer Musik und deren enge Verbindung zu sozialen Medien. In einer Ära, in der Instagram, TikTok und Co. als unverzichtbare Werkzeuge für die Selbstvermarktung von Künstler:innen gelten, werden die Chancen und Grenzen von Social Media beleuchtet. Die Professionalisierung des Musikgeschäfts hat zweifellos neue Horizonte eröffnet, aber sie wirft auch Fragen nach Authentizität, Privatsphäre und dem Gleichgewicht zwischen Kunst und Kommerz auf. Das Panel lädt dazu ein, gemeinsam über die Auswirkungen dieser Entwicklung zu reflektieren.

Wanda Gaimes:
Lecken co-founder, Wanda Gaimes, is a writer and curator whose interests span socialist theory and praxis, radical feminisms, queer liberation, and underground culture making. She became politicized during Occupy and has taught social movement theory and praxis for several years at the Humboldt University. Today Wanda also DJs under the name Skankstasy.

Barto Löwgren:
Barto (he/they) is one of the founders of fluid.vision, a non-hierarchical nightlife collective which organizes the Fluidity Party, and a member of the Anarchist Awareness Alliance, as a queer anticapitalist activist their passion is to strengthen collective and activist structures in Berlin nightlife, reconnecting the queer nightlife scene with the organized left in Berlin.

QNIS Queer Nightlife initiative for Solidarity:
Queer Nightlife Initiative for Solidarity, short QNIS, is a first step to unite Berlin queer and feminist nightlife collectives and organizers to collectively work on issues and shared struggles, as well as to provide support to or join forces with social movements and activism. The initiative has an outspoken commitment to queer/trans-feminist, anti-racist, decolonial, and climate and social justice principles.

“Works Councils and unions and their potential in nightlife” (en.)

Getting your shift cancelled or shortened last minute? Working endless shifts? Under stress all night without the option to have a break? Going to work sick because you need the money?
Many people working in clubs and bars don‘t know their rights, working in compromising conditions and not earning enough, while the clubs profit off their labor.
This workshop opens a space for exchange about different working conditions and educates about workers rights in Germany. The meeting intends to empower workers to organize and demand changes for a healthier, less stressful job, and more sustainable work environment.
The workshop is held by several people with experience and expertise on works council work, unionizing, and workers rights in nightlife.

QNIS invites to a moderated discussion forum about how queer nightlife facilitators can join forces to fight back commercialization, gentrification, and other forms of domination.
This will be a space to collectively decide on issues we want to start collaborating on and what structures we need to in place to do so.
Let us combine our power and reach to make the changes each of us can not achieve on their own. Because we dance together and we stand together!

THE ND PROJECT invites guests from the club culture scene to share their experiences and insights, giving an engaging perspective on what was and is moving the scene yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The name of the project, ND, stands for NEEDLE DROP. As its name suggests, it finds origins in the analogy between the needle of a vinyl record player and the needles used for tattoos.

The concept is designed to rediscover nightlife, (re)connect people, build relationships and a community, and above all, educate.

In this workshop we will explore sensual movement through the lens of self-love and self-confidence. We have often been taught to relegate sexuality and sensuality to the taboo realm, and to live disconnected from our bodies. This is an opportunity to reconnect with our bodies and to channel self-love through dance.
The workshop will explore different ways of moving and walking, different stances, different moods and attitudes.... We will learn to adore ourselves and strip all insecurities away!

Gemeinsam mit den maximal zehn gleichgesinnten, musikinteressierten Workshopteilnehmerinnen vertiefen wir uns in die Geheimnisse der sagenumwobenen Technics 1210er, erforschen den Sound und die Struktur von House und Techno, verlieren uns aber auch in anderen Musiken und Rhythmen und erarbeiten uns ein Basiswissen: Aufbau der Kabine und Funktionen des Mixers sind dabei genauso wichtig wie erste Übergänge.
